I graduated with a Bachelor's in Agricultural Engineering from Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering (First Division β 3.56 GPA international equivalent) and have been working at the intersection of machine learning, computer vision, and climate-smart farming ever since.
My work focuses on building AI systems that address real agricultural challenges in Nepal β where data is scarce, climate is variable, and the stakes for farmers are high. I believe technology should be grounded in field reality, not just benchmarks.
My research on meteorology-driven crop yield prediction was presented at ICRTAI 2025. I also completed a research internship at CREEW working on climate impacts on crop phenology and spatial data analysis using QGIS.

A collection of computer vision projects for agriculture: YOLOv5-based coffee leaf nutrient deficiency detection (N/P/K), CNN-based potato disease classification, and a livestock monitoring system with pose estimation for cattle tracking.
Hands-on RGB drone data processing β from raw imagery through Pix4D photogrammetry to QGIS vegetation analysis. Computed the Excess Green Index (ExG = 2G β R β B) to generate vegetation-focused maps by isolating plant pixels from soil. A 10-hour deep dive that bridged concept to real pipeline.
Designed, fabricated, and field-tested a manual rice transplanter from scratch. Won 1st prize at the Delta 4.0 National Technical Festival and HULT Prize Eastern Region, then selected for the international round in Mumbai.
